The Arthur Langford, Jr. Teen Leadership Institute promises to be an exciting, enlightening and empowering program. The Institute is sponsored by the United Youth-Adult Conference II (U.Y.A.C.), an organization dedicated to improving and making a difference in the lives of youth.

The late Arthur Langford, Jr. was a devout community servant. He began his career in politics as the youngest member of the Atlanta City Council and later became a State Senator. Mr. Langford founded the United Youth-Adult Conference as a means to bridge youth with adults. The Arthur Langford, Jr. Teen Leadership Institute will commence this summer to provide a forum for youth in inner city communities of Atlanta.
